Down the Garden Path

On the opening of my boutique, I wore this jumpsuit which I had in stock and to this day, I honestly don't think I have worn anything which has received such a huge response.
It is still one of my all time favourite looks so I just had to wear it again when my boyfriend and I took a trip to the Galgorm Resort and Spa.
It is such an unusual piece and whilst it may not be everybody's cup of tea, I just loved the sheer detail and the crop top feature underneath.
My sandals are from Zara and were a perfect colour to match with the blush jumpsuit and they are also so comfy which saved me from wearing heels and being miserable with sore feet for the whole evening.
The Galgorm Resort is one of my favourite places to visit. Its like a whole different world with lots of little hidden escapes and the most incredible spa that I have ever seen. The food, the surroundings and the all round experience are second to none and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to relax for a few days.

The Nail Studio Derry

One of the most frequent questions that I get asked is "Who Does Your Nails?" so I wanted to do a little post to show you guys the process and where i get them done.
I had always heard amazing reports about The Nail Studio in Derry/Londonderry and Jennifer, the owner had come highly recommended so when I decided to get them done, she was my first choice.
Up until December last year, I never really got my nails done, in fact, I would have been doing well to even have them painted. My friends always teased me because I spent so much time and effort on my appearance but I always had ugly nails. So when I started getting them done, there was no going back.
I get the acrylic extensions with a gel polish on the top. At the beginning, I would have played it very safe with my colours, always going for a different variation of nude... or if I was feeling extra adventurous, maybe a splash of glitter. But as each time has passed, I have become more and more experimental with colours and I just love them.
This time around I let Jennifer choose what to do, the only thing I really wanted to try was the new chrome effect so I got that in the rose gold on my ring fingers and a variety of nudes and a deep plum on the rest with a splash of diamante. These are by far my favourite set and I am already excited to see what Jennifer does next time.
Mine usually last for three weeks, I could get longer out of them but I hate when they look grown out so I get a refill on the third week and a new set every three to four months depending on the growth of my own nail underneath.
I highly recommend Jennifer and her talented team if ay of you guys are looking to try them out.
They are based on Carlisle Rd in Derry/Londonderry above Emma Harkins hairdressers and their telephone number is 02871372066. Otherwise you can find them on Facebook HERE.

Lisa Dee 6 Week Online Program

As some of you may have seen on my snapchat (sequincinders) - last week I started Lisa Dee's 6 week bikini body plan.
I had done this before, around last summer and it was amazing. I lost weight, gained definition and had an all round healthier life. The before and after pictures above and below were taken throughout my journey last time around and whilst its not miracle material, its definitely a huge difference considering the plan is all done from home and relies only on your own will power as opposed to attending bootcamps or classes.
Let me start by saying - I know I am not overweight and I am not encouraging losing weight in anyway before any key board warriors decide to get fired up. Lisa's program is about being healthy, eating well, exercising without being obsessive and improving your lifestyle. It is not about becoming a size 0.
This time around, I was happy enough with my weight, I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a woman so I always have a few pounds that I could ditch here or there but I felt confident in my body. My main reason for wanting to make changes is that I have been feeling so sluggish and bloated recently. I've had no energy and my skin is crap. I had been researching different intolerances and figured that I definitely have an adversity to either wheat, dairy or both. My high intake of sugar definitely wasn't helping me either so I decided that Lisa's plan was the best for me.
I had tried and tested it and knew that it works so I decided to give it a go.
I started in last Monday and I have already lost 5lbs. My mood has improved and I definitely feel much better. Now I will warn you guys that you may have a few crappy days at the start. My body was used to a Latte a day, a chocolate bar on demand, a takeaway at night and here I was going cold turkey on all of the above so I had the most awful headache for a day or so and felt a bit crap. But it is so important to struggle through that phase because on day three or four I started to feel amazing and haven't looked back.
Lisa's program consists of a diet plan and step by step guides to your daily exercises. I haven't even started the exercises yet and I am noticing huge differences with the food so I look forward to starting them this week and seeing even better results.
If you are anything like me and have a hectic lifestyle, an awful diet and a lack of energy then I definitely recommend working with Lisa and trying her online program. It is super easy to follow from home and has amazing, proven results each time.
You can check out Lisa's work on her Facebook page HERE and her website HERE for more information and don't forget to follow me on snapchat - sequincinders or on instagram - thesequincinderella to keep up to date with my progress.

Erin Quinn Hair & Makeup photoshoot

A few weeks back, when Erin Quinn approached me to style a photoshoot for her end of year submission, I never expected the pictures to turn out as stunning and creative as they did. I knew Erin was a talented Hairdresser and Make-up artist but her vision for this shoot surpassed all of my expectations.
I styled the shoot using a variety of stock from my shop as well as a few of my own designs and they worked so well for the theme which was based on the work of Vivienne Westwood.
Richard Hamilton was the photographer for the day and he had equally as much talent and creative vision as Erin did and watching the two of them work together was incredible.
Saramai Killoran and Aimee Bradley were models for the day, both of which I had worked with before so I knew they would be truly professional and look amazing in each style we had chosen.
I love seeing pieces that I have styled or designed coming to life with awesome hair, make up and photography and I was just blown away by these pictures.
If you would like to check out any more work by the creative team for the shoot then definitely have a look at Erins instagram - erinquinn_makeup and be sure to give her a follow. You can also check out Richards instagram at richard_hamilton to see many more of his breathtaking images.
All of the pieces are available to buy in Sequin Cinderella Boutique which you can find on Facebook at, on snapchat @sequincinders and instagram - @thesequincinderella
