Winter Neon

IMG_0535

I absolutely love the neon trend, particularly for the Autumn/Winter season.
Dark colours are usually associated with the darker evenings but there is nothing that I love than to brighten them up with a splash of colour.
I got this neon green turtle neck sweater in River Island and I thought it was the perfect way to brighten up my faux fur gilet from the Versace for H&M collection. I added my graffiti "speedy" handbag from Louis Vuitton which was an ideal match!
What trends have you embraced this winter?

Endora Clothing

IMG_0554

Last week I was delighted to receive this stunning dress thanks to Endora Clothing, a brand new Irish Fashion company.
I am obsessed with the tartan trend this winter and I love the blue variation of the print!
In this colder weather I love pairing dresses with tights and boots to create a dressy/casual look. This cut out leather pair that I picked up in Topshop were perfect to accessorise the dress but be comfortable enough for a walk along the beautiful "Stroove" beach at Greencastle in County Donegal.
I absolutely love supporting Irish fashion brands and it is so nice to see a company so passionate about what they sell! Endora are the ultimate professionals, a pleasure to work with and I cannot thank them enough for sending me this lovely dress!
Be sure to check them out online at www.endora.ie if you are looking for the perfect outfit!

Christine Donnelly Photography

nicola5

I am finally getting the chance to share these pictures from a fab photo shoot that I did with Christine Donnelly Photography a few weeks ago in St. Columbs Park in Derry/Londonderry.
I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot, everything from the location to the hair and make up were exactly to my taste and I love the finished result!
Hair and Make Up for the shoot was styled by the talented Jodie McAuley MUA. She created a funky bollywood look using stick on gems and dramatic eye make up.
I had seen lots of Christine's photographs and was blown away by her work so I was extremely excited to get the chance to work with her. I had no idea that she was so young, due to the fact that her work had the style of someone with years of experience in the industry. She is definitely talented beyond her years!
It was so much fun to work with the two girls and their creativity was so refreshing. It made the photo shoot much more relaxed and I felt perfectly at ease knowing that I was working with such professionals!
I hope you like the result as much as I do!

Fi Bourke Fashion - Skull Edition

Image

Recently I received a stunning makeup bag and phone cover from the fabulously talented Fi Bourke Fashion and I absolutely love them.
I have loved the skull trend since Aleander McQueen revolutionised it many years ago with his famous skull scarves and I have been addicted ever since. Fi's range of beautiful diamante embossed skulls really caught my attention and I was thrilled when she sent me the phone cover as a gift for winning the blogging competition! Of course I had to pick up a make up bag from the same range, especially as it is in zebra print!
If you havent already seen Fi Bourke's range of totally handmade products (Where have you been?) you must check out her facebook page (www.facebook.com/fi.bourkefashion) I am very sure you will find something to suit your taste and if you don't then you can rest assured that Fi will create something totally unique just for you!

RSVP/Oasis Style Blogger 2013 Prize Voucher

IMG_0422

As you all know, (and thanks to most of you for voting) I won the RSVP/Oasis style blogger 2013 competition and I was delighted to receive the most amazing prize, part of which was an incredible €300 voucher to spend on clothes of my choice in the Oasis store!
I had an amazing time perusing the shop, trying on the beautiful fashions and deciding on my final choices.
In the end up I decided on two beautiful winter coats, a leather look dress and a gorgeous black and gold belt. For the first time in my life I have actually welcomed the cold Irish weather so I get to wear my new Winter wardrobe. All of the items that I chose, along with a stunning array of other fab pieces are available right now in your nearest Oasis store or online at www.oasis.com
I would like to say a huge thanks once again to all of you who helped me to win this prize and to Jayne Haynes and all at RSVP/Oasis for this wonderful opportunity!
Let me know what you think of my choices.

Halloween 2013

IMG_0511

Halloween is one of my favourite nights of the year! I love to get dressed up and be as creative as I can with costumes and face paint and this year was no different!
I am absolutely not a fan of girly costumes, I always have to be something a little bit scary so this year I decided on my own version of an evil clown. I even convinced my boyfriend to let me paint his face to match!
I kept my outfit very simple, I wanted it to be dark, scary and a little theatrical so I chose a tutu skirt and a black corset and topped it all off with a blonde wig and a sequin top-hat!
The face paints and contact lenses were the focal point of my look, I wanted to be totally unrecognisable - and it worked.
Did you dress up? If you did then hashtag your costumes on instagram or twitter with #sequincinderella so I can have a look! I love to see all the different styles that you have come up with!
Hope you all had a fabulous Halloween!
