Ok so its not very often that I put up a post which isn't all about an outfit, but this one covers one of the most fun weekends I have ever had.
My best friend Becky got engaged just before Christmas and I was honoured to be asked to be her Bridesmaid, along with our other best friends Stacey and Ryan who will be Bridesman.
Becky's Fiance Adam contacted us about an engagement party so we all made the journey to their home in Essex, England to be her surprise guests at the party.
I will never forget the moment when she opened the door and discovered the three of us standing there. It was truly special and I even attached the video below so that you guys can share in the moment.
That night we made our way to "Barista" in Chelmsford where we had a champagne reception and danced the night away.
I kept my outfit choice very simple, the main reason being that I only had a 10kg allowance for my luggage which is a nightmare for someone as indecisive as myself.
I travelled that day in black leggings and a cape from Topshop and for the evening I went for a plain black pencil skirt and body suit from River Island and my Jeffrey Campbell spiked "Lita" boots. I also Essex'ed it up a little by wearing bright pink lipstick from Mac and Eylure false eyelashes.
There are few times in life where we realise who our true friends are and how lucky we are to have them! This weekend was absolutely one of those times and if their engagement party was this much fun I can only imagine what their wedding will be like!
