In a society where negativity prevails, be it in the news, in politics, bad weather etc., any sign of positivity is most welcome. Subliminal messages aren't just things that flash on the T.V. screen without us knowing, they can be anything from a picture in a magazine to graffiti on a wall, or in this case a fashion accessory in the shape of my "Fabulous" belt...
Aside from the aesthetic value this may have, it is also a symbol of optimism. Not only am I reminded that I should feel "fabulous" when I wear it, it also sends out a positive message to everyone who reads it!
Gone are the days when a woman should be subservient and reserved... in fact, nowadays, we are encouraged to be strong, be confident and indeed be unashamedly fabulous.
It is funny how one simple accessory can encourage such strength, but to me this belt says it all!
