It is coming. It is time. It... is Man Time

"It is coming. It is time. It…is MAN TIME."

On the 17th of June, "Our Events NI" will make history with the very first Northern Irish all Male fashion show and I am lucky enough to have been invited to attend such an exciting event. It will take place in the recently refurbished Ivory Restaurant and Bar on top of Belfast's Victoria Square, where guests will be treated to a drinks reception, a red carpet photo opportunity and a goody bag appropriately named "The Man Bag."

Man Time shall be an event like no other. 

Running alongside London Collections: Men, a 3 day long Fashion event taking place in the UK, "Our Events NI" were determined not to leave Northern Ireland behind and this extravaganza is set to bring the male population to the forefront of the fashion scene.

As a true fashion lover, I adore every aspect of the industry and although my main passion is attire that I myself can wear, I truly admire and respect clothing aimed at the opposite sex. In fact, in celebration of the up and coming "Man Time" event I chose an outfit that was inspired by a Man's Tuxedo. The androgynous look was something of a breakthrough trend over the past few seasons and I loved the idea of taking elements from masculine style and spicing it up with sequins and frills to create an ultra feminine look. The trousers and shirt are from Identity Boutique and I paired them with my Chanel Patent maxi flap handbag and Christian Louboutin heels. (as worn here) The bow-tie was borrowed from my Brother.

This event will showcase the best of what Northern Ireland has to offer in the Mens Style Stakes including top designer brands from Pepe jeans, Hugo Boss, Cruise, Clockwork Orange and Bank. Watches will be provided by "The Watch Store" and luxury footwear will be on display from "Dune". The evening will also premier the first ever menswear creations from Local Designers such as Nor Lisa Fashion, Van Der Simon Knitwear and Dave Henderson.

The models on the night will be styled by the well renowned John Gerard O'Neill and award winning hair stylist Jason Shankey will be on hand to provide super sleek catwalk ready cuts.

Our Events NI co-founder and Managing Director Kerrie Mann commented, “Its been a long time coming and we are beyond excited to be involved in providing Belfast with the first men's only fashion based event. An exciting event which will undoubtedly draw attention for the fashion conscious guys in NI.”
