Last week I celebrated my twenty - ... well I celebrated my birthday! I'll keep the age under wraps as someday I might wish to pretend I am 30 when I am really turning 50.
To mark the occasion, my Mother and I took a trip to Dublin to visit my Brother. It was a lovely few days relaxing, shopping, dining out and dressing up.
As per usual I clearly over packed for the trip as you will see from the picture below. When I have the luxury of having the car with me, I tend to fill it up with everything I can fit "just incase".
We stayed at the stunning "Westbury Hotel" on Dublin's Grafton St. and on arrival to our room I was delighted to have been left some birthday cupcakes and a card from the manager and staff. Just one of their many luxurious touches to make your stay an enjoyable one.
To travel the four hour journey to Dublin from Donegal I chose a very easy-to-wear outfit of a stretch pencil skirt and t-shirt from River Island, with my "Chiara Ferragni" biker boots which I wear everywhere when I need to be comfortable. (Like here)
As you may have noticed, one of my favourite places to shop is River Island. I absolutely love their clothes and the fact that they are so reasonably priced means I can wear something new everyday without guilt. I just love mixing high street with key designer items, in this case my Balenciaga "partime" bag which I feel pulls the whole outfit together. You definitely do not need to be head-to-toe in designer to look stylish and that Ladies and Gents, is a mantra to stick by, whether its Primark or Prada you can always look your best.

Congrats and WOW, Nicola! Of course you know you look stunning! Apart from that, and your clever style savant remarks, it's funny that I feel the same way about age revealing. This outfit is a perfect example of being "edgy". I love the whole outfit!! I also really love how you incorporated the pink into the outfit but still managed to make it have that edgy feel! Excellent outfit!!
