This weekend I received a little package in the post with some tattoo transfers from "Fake Tattoos." I was more than honoured to be asked to collaborate with this company for The Sequin Cinderella. As you will have seen in my post Costume Couture I am no stranger to temporary tattoos and I love to dress in costume. However, this company have shown me a whole new side to body art.
If you are like me and change your mind as often as you change your shoes, then a permanent tattoo is definitely not for you. These beautiful transfers are the perfect 'pain-free' solution.
You can chose a design to suit your mood, your style or even your outfit, with each tattoo lasting anywhere from 3-10 days depending on your skin-type.
For this shoot, I chose to keep my clothing and make-up very simple with a Tube Top from Topshop and a pink lipgloss from Mac Make-up as I wanted to let the tattoos be the main feature of my look.
Some people may be under the illusion that tattoos only fit a certain 'genre' or 'stereotype,' yet, what "Fake Tattoos" have done, is show us that they can not only be interchangeable, but they can be feminine, pretty and suit anyone who wishes to wear one. The beauty of the tattoos speak for themselves.

While I sometimes contemplate getting a tattoo, I could never committ myself to one design for the rest of my life. I love the idea of fake tattoos that look real though, that I could easily remove when I no longer wanted it. I love the one on the back of your neck.
